Top Gear film crew ruins a new R35 Skyline GTR.

While filming an upcoming show, the crew had the Skyline on the road coarse along with a Audi R8 following. The Skyline driver slammed on the brakes, not realizing how quickly it would stop causing the R8 driver to run into him.

After driving one, I didn't feel like the Skyline brakes felt like overkill at all.

2. oh god, what the hell has top gear done?
seems like they failed to use the rear view mirror, cause its a no brainer that the r35 is better all around than an r8.....i want to strangle someone over this, and im suprised no one has been beat down yet! come on!!! we're talking SKYLINE!!! and as soon as it gets here, these so called 'pros' in their own aspect of TV, manage to make fools of themselves and their track behavior! oh well, its not mine, and im over it already, i would have to seriously hurt someone had it been mine.....sorry, when i see exotics all messed up like that, it makes me die inside, because SOMEONE ELSE GOT TO PUSH IT TO THE LIMITS, AND NOT ME, so yes i am VERY jealous!!
But seriously, is there anyone not upset over this? Or are we all so desensitized as to not have a near totaled skyline ruin our web surfing?

3. Uhhh, deelaw, its not totaled, the damages MAY amount to about 4 or 5 thousand USD to fix that damage. Totaled means from an insurance standpoint, it costs more to repair the car, than the car's overall worth.

4. damn top gear. try to keep it together. all i got to say is fix it. a car like that with that damage would be easy but not cheap

5. Doesn't look too bad at all. I imagine the rear was pushed in or maybe cracked a lil bit. Of Course it looks horrible with the Rear Bumper and light assembly's taken out, but all in all i doubt it was that bad.

6. Are we talking the BBC's Top Gear with Clarkson and the gang, or the American NBC Top Gear USA? Because that.. would be a different story. Also, since Clarkson already tested the R35, it would make more sense that this was done by Adam Corolla and company.

7. Nevermind, after Googling the results show that this happened on the legendary Isle of Man and that it was the Top Gear Magazine staff which isn't exactly the TV show.
