When you hear the name Honda Civic, what do you think of?

When you hear the name Honda Civic, what do you think of? Think of it from a performance standpoint as well as from a consumer perspective (ex: The Civic is a good car for a first time buyer/college student.)

This is a totally open ended question; feel free to praise or slam the car.

1. when i hear honda civic, i think of torqueless, riced/ghetto'd out, worthless cars on the road!

Dont get me wrong, there are a few that stand out, and are not rice at all, but simply clean, but being where i live, thats about all i see (riced out hondas)

3. Haters come to mind. So many people are out to jump on anyone sporting a H badge on today's streets. Yes, there is a saturation of poorly crafted cars sporting around with poorly fitted body kits and misaligned suspensions; but that has just driven true enthusiasts to create a vehicle that doesn't deserve such wanton hatred of being simply a Honda. I think a lot of Honda guys are succeeding in creating a firm distinction of Honda enthusiasm and car butchering. Mugen versus ebay parts. :3

4. 4. The Reason why all of you haters out there have a Nissan,Mitsu, or any other tuner. Honda started it all just like Model T's started Hot Rodding without Civic EG's and EK's we wouldn't have what we have now. KEEP PEOPLE FROM RICING OUT HONDAS

5. When I think of Honda I think of reliability, efficiency and endless possiblities. I've owned three Hondas in my life and they have all been good to me.

9. Where is the fart can at? Dont get me wrong they are dependable cars but most of the civics around where i live have a big stupid muffler that fart so loud for no reason.
