Hey all, I finally have some down time to update this blog. In the last 6 months since I last blogged, there's been a ton of changes, most of which I'm sure you've all caught on to. Some great friends have moved on to do their own thing, but we've also welcomed some really cool staff members; needless to say, I'm excited to see what we can pull out of our asses in the next couple of issues.

More than anything, I'd like to hear some real feedback of recent issues, from November '07 up until the present, which should be the HYPE BEAST (Feb '08) issue with the HKS CT230R on the cover. Dig it? Hated it?

I'll update really soon; we just came back from Tokyo Auto Salon and have some really cool stories to tell.

2. Hey JDMWong, who do I have to kill to get John Mazzante's position?

I've been trapped in a cubicle publishing articles that should've been lost with the dead sea scrolls ever since I was tricked into working for this company. Seriously, if I'm forced to read another The Wong Way article from 2002, I'm going to tie one end of a rope to a file cabinet with the other end wrapped snuggly around my waist, and push it out of the second story window.

I applied here to Primedia so that I could be more in touch with the tuner scene, not be more in touch with Sally, the girl who only after three botched attempts at making coffee learned that third degree burns on your face don't make you any more attractive to your co-workers.

Oh, and what's up with Jtuned? That was a great tuner source up until it stopped being updated about two decades ago. :(

3. Need some advice, want to import an s15 from Japan and want to save some money on mods. I hear that you can save a bundle on buying something that is already modded. Any suggestions or anyone you know of that could help, have been saving up for ages to by being a poor uni student it feels like like forever. Any help would be much appreciated.
