My wonderful car decided to start making a new noise today and I fear the worst.
Recently I changed my oil and noticed little shavings of copper. It is now a couple weeks later and at idle my car makes this loud rattling noise that unfortunately (no matter how much I tell myself its not) is consistent with my rpm's. My car has 115,000 miles on it - Honda recommends to inspect and change your journal bearings if necessary every 80,000 miles (or at least that's the last recommendation interval I have heard).
What im looking from you guys is some positive support like: oh don't worry its just a heat shield that's cracked or ahhhhhh, its just an exhaust leak, I'm asking you to put my mind to ease.
