Paintless Dent Removal

So I was driving to get lunch - no this story does not involve me stealing packets of hot sauce or sugar; even though it definitely would make the story a little more interesting.

Anyways I'm driving along minding my own business when this dude sticks his head and arms out the window and starts flailing them around frantically. I kind of looked around thinking - what the *** is this guy doing and who is he directing this towards.  After a few seconds I realize he was directing his actions towards me. He signals for me to pull over to the side. He follows me, parks and hops out of his truck.  "Can I help you" I said.  He looks at my car for a minute and points to the dent in my rear fender and says I can fix that right here - right now.  I was like ummm... how?  He told me he did paintless dent removal. I was like oh, well who do you work for? Since I did not see any markings on his truck or anything that would remotely signify he was involved in such a line of work, no uniform or work shirt etc.  He said he worked for some company and was on his lunch break and he just happened to have all his tools in the back of the truck, "You are lucky, this is the only time I have ever had my tools in my truck with me." - Right.   I kindly declined, even though he said it would have been cheap and I would have been satisfied with the results.

What would you guys have done?  I think I absolutely made the right choice, but others I have talked to seem to have different opinions.

Hell, even as I write this someone has just walked into our office trying to sell cruises?  WTF, get out of our office?  Everyone is trying to sell something I guess.
