 i think i've made it apparent enough that i'm a clips fan and last night was the downtown showdown round 4. the last time the clips and lakers play each other in the regular season. the last two seasons were split two and two. and even though it was at the staples center, it was a lakers home game, which made this a clips road game. down by 17, i thought i'd have to buy lunch for jimmy at DME. he already got me for $40 earlier in the season. but who comes through? big balls sam cassell. the 37 year old point guard that looks like ET. running the offense, making plays, knocking down shots, and beating the younger dudes off the dribble TWICE for easy layups. go, sammy. not to take anything away from the duke connection elton brand had 32 pts. and maggette had 39 pts. and 9 assists. both career highs. not to mention he got knee'd in the junk by the ninja turtle known as bynum. still not locked in for the playoffs yet, but really close. oh yeah, i pick up my nsx tomorrow too. sweeeeet.
