A video landed on my lap this morning of a Subaru Impreza WRX STi jumping a double. The car at one point must have been close to a hundred feet in the air. So it makes me wonder. Will this be a new extreme sport? Sure it would be extremely expensive but I wonder what the physical limits to a cars maneuverability in the air would be? If a sport or competition was made out of car jumping would we start to see maneuvers like 360's and back flips, well maybe not backflips. With standard suspension setups I don't think that would be possible, but what if you employed an active suspension like the Bose suspension? That would be interesting.
