Honda Motor Company, Ltd recently announced that there will not be a 2007 Acura RSX. Production of the RSX started in 2001 with the 2002 model release. It didn't take long for the RSX to prove it was a worthy replacement for a car some thought would be irreplaceable, the Acura Integra. With the introduction of i-vtec, a new engine technology that allows the intake cam to rotate up to 50 degrees to provide unlimited variable cam timing, and huge aftermarket support, the RSX turned the tuning world upside down, boasting huge power gains from simple bolt-ons. In a short time span, this little sports coupe made its way in to many of our tuning hearts, including mine. Although not completely dead (living vicariously through the Honda Civic Si), the RSX will be missed.
